CAROL KRISTIAN LISTD, LLAM – Principal
Educated at St Bernards Convent High School for Girls in Westcliffe, Essex, Carol became a dance fanatic relatively late in life at the age of 12. She left school at the earliest opportunity aged 16 and attended the Bush Davis School for 3 years to train to be a dancer. Subsequently she danced professionally for 5 years meeting her husband Marty en route. They married in 1975 and settled in Heronsgate where a neighbour asked her to teach her daughter to dance. From that beginning, with 9 children ‘on the books’, the school has grown, surviving the birth of 2 sons, 14 months apart, the buying and selling of another branch in Wembley, the taking over of the existing ballet school in Chorleywood and adding the Gerrards Cross branch in 2000. 20 Summer Shows and 9 Christmas Shows later, the Carol Kristian Theatre School is buzzing and Carol loves every minute of it (well almost every minute!)
