Unlike some theatre groups that provide a short term outlet for children's energy, we encourage every student to stretch their individual talent to the absolute limit which keeps them constantly motivated and keen to progress. When children are ready, we enter them for examinations of the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) and LAMDA (The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art). These exam days become special times that students enjoy as they are rewarded for their effort and talent. Consequently, we regularly enjoy a 100% success rate with a high percentage of top grades. All our examinations are now accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) and the results can be added to your UCAS forms. In addition, the CK calendar is packed with fun events such as Prize Giving where achievements within the school are recognised, plus Choreographic contests and Festivals where students can compete for awards within the school or against other schools in the area.

Bi-Annual Production
In July at a lovely theatre, spread over a week in which every pupil from 3 years onwards takes part.

Past productions include: Peter Pan, Jungle Book, Alice, Around the World in 80 Days and Tom Sawyer.

"CK classes are wicked and something to look forward to after school.
Many of my friends go. Youth drama is great for meeting everyone in the evening and having fun."

Owen Visser, 14yrs, current student
